Ahren Warner makes photographs, films and texts. His work has been published widely, appearing in, or on, The Guardian, BBC, Dazed and Granta. He has exhibited, screened or performed at institutions including the Saatchi Gallery (London), South London Gallery, Centro de Cultura Digital (Mexico City), British Council (Athens), Nicolas Tesla Museum (Zagreb), Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall. He is the author of books of photography and poetry, including The sea is spread and furled (Prototype, 2020) and Hello. Your Promise has been extracted (Bloodaxe, 2017). Ahren is the recipient of prizes including an Arts Foundation Fellowship, numerous Arts Council England, Society of Authors, and Royal Society of Literature awards. In 2020, he was selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries. Ahren's photographic and film interests span commercial, fashion, portrait and documentary.
